Video Conferencing
COT provides through the Kentucky TeleLinking Network (KTLN) access to over 290+ statewide interactive video sites. Interactive video (ITV) allows the customer to have real time communication with participants at another ITV site or multiple sites.
The customer can request, using the COT Online Video Conference Request Form, delivery of formal and informal instruction, professional development, administrative meetings, reenactments of historical events, public meetings, depositions, and continuing education. KTLN is not limited to only Kentucky locations. COT provides out of state ITV connections through a PRI line (ISDN). Not having to travel great distances to have a meeting or obtain training saves the customer's budget monies. The participants are able to return to their workplace in a timely manner after attending an ITV meeting or training.

Currently there are two Codec manufactures authorized: VTEL & Polycom. Alltel currently has the contract for video Codec and associated ITV room equipment; i.e. video monitors, cameras, audio mixers.

ISDN Video Conference
The ISDN Video Conference service utilizes ISDN (telephone calls) to connect the participants. The stated charge is per-conference. Service includes video conference setup using the COT Conference "Bridge". Per minute telephone (ISDN) charges also apply from telecom provider.
Support staff is available Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm.
Pass Through - Outsourced Unlimited H.323 Video Conferencing
The H.323 monthly service fee allows unlimited Video Conference use, including setup and support. An agencies' video conference equipment must be IP-capable in order to utilize this service.

Pass Through - Outsourced Unlimited H.320 / H.321 Video Conferencing
The H.320/H.321 monthly service fee allows unlimited Video Conference use, including setup and support. This service is designed for agencies with legacy video conference equipment (non-IP-capable).

Single H.323 Video Conference
This service provides Video Conference setup, support, and use on a per-conference basis. An agencies' video conference equipment must be IP-capable in order to utilize this service.
