DT10 Desktop Device Support


The Desktop Device Support rate reflects COT’s overall responsibility for IT services down to the individual desktop. The rate includes procurement activities, licensed operating system, licensed Microsoft Office suite, required client access licenses (CALs), firewall and virus protection, licensed remote control agent, setup, installation, preventative maintenance, upgrades/patch maintenance, system monitoring, a standard desktop image (or “ghosting”) and access to the Commonwealth Service Desk 24x7x365. The rate also includes system replacement cost on a 3-5 year cycle (dependent upon vendor warranty and/or agency application requirement changes). The rate does NOT include initial purchase of the Desktop platform nor does it cover any costs associated with initially updating/upgrading any platform to comply with Commonwealth Architectural Standards.

Support staff is available Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Emergency after hour pager support is available.
